Alec and his wife Amy Zacaroli founded 25:40 in June 2003. Alec lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, as a child, and from this experience has remained keenly interested in issues facing southern Africa, especially social justice issues and community development. He has practiced environmental law for 21 years and is an author of two books — Give1.25 and Obey: the Power of Love and Surrender. He recently earned his Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary and is now the Missions, Outreach and Assimilation Pastor at Burke Community Church.
