GET INVOLVED
How you can impact a life forever
Pray
It’s easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged when considering the numbers we are up against – 12.5 million children orphaned by HIV/AIDS; the HIV rates in South Africa are between 15 and 33% of the population; and 75% of families in the Eastern Cape live in poverty. That is why we invite you to pray! Please pray for the children, women and men we are working with and those we have not yet found, but who need help. Please also pray that all we do will honor God and His plan for the Xhosa people.

Be Creative
Over the years, we have had individuals support us and raise funds in many fun and creative ways – a South African-themed dinner, a South African wine tasting, a 25-hour and 40-minute fundraiser walk, garage sales, making and selling jewelry on Etsy, bake sales, concerts and silent auctions — just to name a few! Do you have an idea to raise funds? Let us know!

Currently, we have short and longer-term volunteer opportunities available in our early childhood development centre/aftercare and sports coaching programmes. Volunteers must have a living relationship with the Lord, be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and the application of His gifts. Reach out to us for more information on these opportunities.

volunteering with 25:40

During my last trip, I returned with a full heart after assisting in updating facilities for children who are learning about the Word of God. Additionally, getting to know the Staff of believers halfway around the world in South Africa and lifting them up in prayer was incredibly fulfilling, as they work directly with those young hearts.

I am in awe of the 25:40 staff in South Africa. They show up daily, tirelessly pouring out their love, attention and hard work to the children and caregivers. They show the love of Jesus everywhere they go, bringing hope. When I go there, it’s like my spiritual home.

I want to share with you an exciting ministry opportunity God blessed me AND provided financial & prayer support – It was the BOMB! I joined others from BCC on a mission trip to South Africa. Our Mission was to build relationships and share our precious Jesus with the staff at 25:40 and the community of Canzibe. I got to play with the precious children every day! How cool is that? We studied God’s word with our new friends and got to go on house visits and meet new friends. We also were allowed to meet the Chief over all the tribe! We did construction work and just loved on everybody! I’ve never had so much fun talking about Jesus – it was totally amazing. We got to see God at work first hand! What a wonderful opportunity of a lifetime!

So very blessed to be a part of a BCC Mission Trip to Canzibe, South Africa in support of Project 25:40. Experienced warmth and God’s love from the teachers, coaches and staff who are doing remarkable work caring for those children in need in preschool and after care. Humbled and blessed to be welcomed so nicely by everyone and to just spend time playing soccer with the children and pouring into the young men. They blessed me with their love of Christ far more than anything I could have imagined or provided to them. Thank you for helping me grow and mature in my own walk with Jesus. They even gave me new name…Tata Scott. So honored and grateful.
